Using Tags

Overview

Tags help you organize and filter filings. You can create custom tags and apply them manually, or let the AI auto-tagging system categorize filings automatically.

Creating Tags

  1. Navigate to My Tags in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Tag
  3. Enter a tag name
  4. Choose a color for the tag
  5. Click Save

Applying Tags to Filings

On any filing page, click the tag icon on a filing row to add or remove tags. You can apply multiple tags to a single filing.

AI Auto-Tagging

When enabled (Settings → AI & Automation → Auto-Tagging), new filings are automatically analyzed and tagged based on their content. Common auto-tags include:

  • M&A — Mergers and acquisitions
  • Leadership — Executive changes
  • Earnings — Financial results
  • Debt — Financing and debt offerings
  • Legal — Litigation and regulatory matters

Filtering by Tags

On any filings page, use the tag filter to show only filings with specific tags. This is especially useful for tracking themes across multiple companies.
