Deal Documents

Overview​

Each deal can have documents attached for reference. Documents are stored securely in Amazon S3 with encryption at rest.

Uploading Documents​

  1. Open a deal's detail view
  2. Click Upload Document
  3. Select a file from your computer
  4. The document will be uploaded and associated with the deal

Supported File Types​

You can upload any file type. Common document types include:

  • PDFs (research reports, presentations)
  • Spreadsheets (financial models)
  • Word documents (memos, notes)
  • Images (screenshots, charts)

Security​

  • All documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256
  • Documents are only accessible to the deal owner
  • The S3 bucket blocks all public access
  • Old document versions are automatically cleaned up after 90 days
